Dea Allen walked my wife and I through our first boat purchase. We had NO idea what we were doing. We had looked at a few yachts and dealt with one other broker who didn’t seem very interested in working with us. Dea was listed as the agent for a few boats we were interested in and I began emailing her. She was very responsive (and continues to be) and as we emailed we talked a bit about what we were looking for. We met her and she showed us a couple of yachts and really worked with us to find something we were comfortable with. She was extremely easy to work with and all about finding something that was suitable for us. Since we closed the deal on our yacht she has been extremely helpful in setting us up with mechanics, a diving service, etc…If we ever sell our current Hatteras we’ll go right to her knowing she will represent us as well when we sell as she did when we were buying.
